Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Nyxis (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our Android application for AI-powered image-to-video and text-to-video generation.

By using Nyxis, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Information we collect

Content you provide

• Photos — images you select from your device for image-to-video generation.
• Text prompts — descriptions, scene/action/outfit hints, style and aspect-ratio choices you enter before generating.
• Generated videos — output files produced from your requests.

App and device data

• Generation records — task status, timestamps, error messages, and local file paths stored in the app database.
• Wallet data — diamond balance, VIP status, and membership expiry stored locally on your device.
• Technical data — basic device and network information needed to send API requests, download results, and keep the app running (e.g., connectivity status, Android version).

We do not require you to create an account to use Nyxis, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app itself.

How we use your information

• Process your image and prompt to generate AI videos through our cloud video service.
• Track generation progress, show history in the Record tab, and let you preview or save results.
• Manage in-app purchases such as VIP membership and diamond packs, and apply usage limits where enabled.
• Improve reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service from abuse.
• Comply with applicable laws and platform requirements (including age-related checks where supported).

Permissions we request

• Internet — submit generation requests, poll task status, and download finished videos from the AI service.
• Read images / media — let you pick photos from your gallery for image-to-video.
• Storage (Android 9 and below) — save finished videos to your gallery when you tap Save.

We only access photos you explicitly choose. We do not scan your entire photo library in the background.

Third-party services

To provide AI video generation, Nyxis sends your uploaded images and text prompts to a third-party cloud provider (Together AI) over encrypted connections. That provider processes the content solely to produce the requested video output.

Depending on your device and region, the app may also interact with:

• Google Play services — for in-app purchases, age-signals checks, and platform distribution.
• Advertising partners — when you choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock a generation (if enabled in your version).

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review them.

Data storage and retention

• On your device — generation history, cached cover images, downloaded videos, wallet balance, and VIP status are stored locally.
• On our servers / AI provider — uploaded images and prompts are transmitted for processing. Retention on remote systems depends on the provider’s policies and operational needs; we aim to minimize unnecessary retention.

You can delete individual records in the Record tab at any time. Uninstalling the app removes local task data, cached files, and wallet information stored on that device.

Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when necessary to:

• Operate the AI generation service through our cloud provider.
• Process payments and subscriptions through Google Play.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our User Agreement, or protect users and the service from fraud or abuse.

Children’s privacy

Nyxis is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where supported, we may use platform age-signals tools to help restrict access for supervised accounts that are not approved for this type of content.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Security

We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS for network communication and local app storage protections provided by Android. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

• Choose whether to upload images and enter prompts — generation only happens when you initiate it.
• Delete records and cached outputs from within the app.
• Revoke permissions in Android Settings; some features may stop working if required permissions are denied.
• Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to submit a request.

International transfers

Your content may be processed on servers located outside your country, including where our AI provider operates. By using Nyxis, you consent to such transfers for the purpose of providing the service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
